With NASCAR Racing 4's demo out already, Papyrus has done the time and totally redesigned their site! For those of you who cannot wait for the NASCAR Racing 4 simulation to come out, check out the screenshots! Hello Everyone, its been a while but the site is back up and running better than ever. The user uploads work, the discussion board has several new features, the discussion search will work in the next two days, many errors have been fixed, and I am working hard with a few other people to bring the site back up to where it should be. I will be adding new features from day to day, while a few others will be adding content and making sure the place stays in good shape. I will be starting a ListServ for NASCAR Racing sims in the next few days, and there will be lots more just around the corner. So keep checking back, and I hope you enjoy.

Well, I finally got Heat Installed on my PIII 866 w/ a Voodoo5 5500, WOW, what an improvement. Besides the fact that you can run it in 1280x1024, besides the fact that you can still get 40+ FPS w/ full detail, running a card like this opens up a really cool option to run the cars in high detail. This adds some great graphics effects to the cars, as well as some really nice yet subtle body additions and shadowing. Chech out the shot below for a good example of the improvements.

Mr. Ed Martin from Hasbro dropped by our humble forum today and answered many users questions. Among other things, he told us that NASCAR Heat will be going Gold shortly and will have an official release date of 8/22. Looks like a sim will be out before the date for once. I am working on a complete review but wanted to share a few more screen shots today. The first two are excellent pictures of the pack running at night Daytona, and the third is what happens when you get turned sideways just before the trioval at Taladega. Notice the hanging suspension and roof flaps in the shot. Keep your eyes open over the next few days for a complete writeup and a whole bunch of shots.
